Cumbria Advisory Thyroid Service is a independently run local support group. It is the aim of our support group to provide information to anyone affected by a Thyroid related condition. Whilst we aim to make our services to you free, and we do not ask for a monthly fee, we do ask that you consider making an annual contribution to CATS which covers only our administration costs for producing newsletters and posting costs to keep you up to date with our news and planned events. If you would be willing to offer a small annual subscription of £6.00 we will in return add you to our Thyroid Register of Friends’.
You will recieve:
* four newsletters per year
* a dedicated support information line
* a postal information service
* invitations to thyroid meetings and events
* access to a network of links throughout the South Cumbria area
The thyroid friends’ register has been running since the group formed in 2004. To date the group has recorded 155 members. We hope that more people will consider becoming a Thyroid Friend and together we can be managers of our Thyroid conditions.
